The Templeton Varsity Boys returned to volunteer Stadium Monday night to play local rivals Paso Robles in a non-conference warm up game. With 3 of last games starters nursing injuries on the bench, a new look Eagles team worked hard absorbing tremendous pressure from a high octane Bearcats team who took a 1-0 lead early on. In the second half the Eagles started getting more looks at the Paso goal and pressure by Adam Krulikowski on an Eagles corner resulted in a goal for the eagles and a 1-1 game. Paso quickly regained the lead and later in the half extended it to 3-1 for the final score. After some well-earned rest and recuperation over the holidays, the Eagles will be on the road next Monday 12/2 to play Santa Maria in their next non-conference game.
