Its an Ugly (Sweater) Friday at THS

Students broke out their ugly sweaters for the annual “Ugly Sweater” contest.  They took turns walking the red carpet to the ooohs and aahhs of onlookers.  Mazie Jo Wilson, Spirit Commissioner at THS, said that “dress up days and spirit contests are an important for students to step outside their comfort zone and express themselves in a positive and uplifting way.”

This year’s winners were Katy Simonin and Kody Custer pictured above.  Katy shared that she loves Christmas and looks forward every year to wearing her ugly sweater.  She said the biggest challenge for her is deciding which of her ugly sweaters she wants to wear.

Thank you to all of those who participated in our contest this year.  We love the holiday spirit and your willingness to step out and show your creativity.
